In a time when our attention is constantly divided between obligations, work, children's extracurriculars, screens, social media, and numerous other demands, finding the time for a home-cooked family dinner can seem like an unattainable goal. We understand the effort involved in preparing a meal from start to finish – from planning and shopping to cooking and cleaning, it can consume a significant part of your day. That's why we offer a convenient weekly meal service, designed to restore freedom to the lives of busy families.
In-Home, Customized Weekly Meal Prep
Menus are thoughtfully curated according to your family’s unique eating habits, with a strong emphasis on healthy, clean, and whole foods. Dietary restrictions and allergies of all kinds are welcomed; including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, low-carb, and more. All of the meals are cooked in the privacy of your own home, packaged, and stored in your refrigerator ready to be enjoyed.
What you need to know:
Beginning with an in-depth consultation, we will go over dietary restrictions, aversions, allergies and preferences. Consultation can be done over the phone or in person.
Chef Karen will craft a menu based on the consultation and send it to you for any modifications.
All grocery shopping for your menu will be done the morning of the cooking visit. Chef Karen will come to your home and get to work.
*The kitchen will be left spotless and all meals will be ready to reheat and enjoy. Reheating instructions are available upon request.*

about the chef
Chef Karen is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America where she earned her degree in the Culinary Arts. Her career began in Princeton at the Springdale Country Club. She moved on to cook for Ninety Acres at Natirar where she fell in love with farm to table cuisine. In 2013, Karen returned to Princeton and joined the team at elements where she further honed her skills.
Karen’s passion and love for her craft is shaped by her experience staging not only across the country, but across the world. As elements made their move to downtown Princeton, Karen remained on the team and had the unique opportunity to travel and learn from several Michelin starred restaurants.
Among the restaurants are: The Willows Inn (Lummi Island, Washington), Atelier Crenn (San Francisco, CA), Aubergine (Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA), Flour and Water (San Francisco, CA) and L`effervescense (Tokyo, Japan).
After six years at elements, Karen has taken her leave in pursuit of providing Princeton families with delicious, healthy and innovative home cooked meals. Her training has provided her a wealth of knowledge regarding all types of cuisines, techniques, ingredients, and dietary restrictions. Although her degree from the Culinary Institute of America was earned in the Culinary Arts, Karen has extensive experience in bread baking and pastry production. She believes every aspect of cooking is essential to becoming a well-rounded chef. Whether working on a detailed tasting menu or creating a menu for your picky eaters, the same amount of love and care pours from her craft.

With a background in fine dining, Chef Karen offers catering for an array of private events ranging from cocktail parties and intimate dinners to birthday parties and weddings.
